• Agenda item #1:  AECOO1 Update– Patrick Suermann
  • Weekly Teleconferences until Demonstration in January
  • Draft MVD available for review – went out to listserv, but let me know if you are interested and did not get it.
• Agenda item #2:  bSA, FFC, COBIE Update –Pat Suermann or Mat Krogulecki
  • July 23-25, 2008, National Academy of Sciences, Washington, D.C.
  • After a litany of criteria, the evaluators, Nick Nisbet and Bill East settled on a rating out of 10 to collectively compare the submissions:
    • The order was a little surprising and slightly controversial:  Onuma (9/10), Bentley (8), VectorWorks (7), Autodesk Revit IFC (6), and Autodesk Revit Excel Macro (4)
    • The bottom line is that the event showed that COBIE is a very robust and important tool that is probably the leading BIM/IFC compliant tool for automating facility handover.

• Agenda item #3:   AIA TAP BIM I-CMM Evaluations - Patrick Suermann and team

  • Discussion about possibly including the I-CMM in the 2009 selection process!
  • Need to start writing article/PPT on this for conferences, journals, etc.Volunteers?  - Mat Krogulecki, Tammy McCuen

• Agenda item #4:  Team Member Presentation – Mat Miller of SMPC Architects from New Mexico

  • Mat will brief August’s attendees with information about his firm, an existing BIM-based project in New Mexico, and give us a glimpse into his affiliation with Foster and Partners project they are teaming on:the Civilian Space Port Project

Other Business

• Interest in going computer voice? - Negatory!  If we can get it "passively," we will.  Tabled until September.
• Presenters are needed for Testing Team meetings from October through December to brief real world activities and experiences with BIM.
