| BIM Wiki needs your help to build the world's best source of BIM information. The About BIM Wiki page is a great place to learn how to get started. We need volunteer editors to write new pages and to manage, edit and patrol our existing content. On a project of this size, there is always much to be done. This page contains links to areas of BIMWiki that need your help. Anyone, including you can do any of the tasks listed here. If you need help, feel free to ask any of the help team or administrators, almost all of whom are volunteers just like you. Ways to Contribute - Write a new page on a subject we don't yet cover.
- Categorize Un-categorized pages.
- Edit articles in need of copyediting.
- Check out existing pages, and edit and improve the article.
- Keep an eye on new articles and nominate them for deletion if they are duplicates, or edit or categorize them appropriately. If these pages need more attention than you feel qualified to provide, label them appropriately.
- Answer a request that has been made by another user. Search first. Redundant offerings may become the subject of a merge.
- Patrol pages that have been recently edited.
- Weave links into any article to knit all of BIM Wiki together.
- Expand articles marked as Placeholder Pages.
- Remove personal and biased references from articles.
- Do accuracy patrol. Find inaccurate content. Fact check and research them. Cite your sources.
- Add Related BIMWiki pages to a BIMWiki page.
- Join a collaboration. Every day new people are looking for editors to help them.
